Established in 2011
Primary Investigations was established, in 2011, as a private investigation firm to provide professional investigative services across the State of Texas. While our main focus is accident investigation and reconstruction we can also provide a wide range of investigative services including consulting expert and testifying expert witness services. We can investigate and reconstruct all vehicle accidents involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. All accident investigations and reconstructions are conducted by Larry W. Busby, an ACTAR certified reconstructionist. We can assist in the preparation of your case from mapping the accident scene with a 3D Laser Scanner, downloading the Event Data Recorder data from the vehicles, creating a 3D scan of the vehicles, reconstructing the time and movement of the vehicles, preparing 3D animations of the accident, providing an expert report for use in deposition, arbitration and/or trial and, if sufficient evidence exists, to demonstrate causation factors. We can help whether you just need an expert review of the police or another expert’s reconstruction, a consulting expert or a testifying expert witness. Additionally we can prepare, based upon our reconstruction, 3D animations of the accident from various view points using the point cloud from 3D scans to reflect sight obstructions, what could be seen and from where and a realistic recreation of the accident.
